The Deco Revival: Fluting, Brass and Curves in Modern Kitchens

JULY 29, 2026  ◆  3 MIN READ
IN SHORT

Deco's return is not nostalgia — its vocabulary (vertical rhythm, curves, warm metals) happens to suit cabinetry perfectly.

Deco's return is not nostalgia — its vocabulary (vertical rhythm, curves, warm metals) happens to suit cabinetry perfectly.

The vocabulary

Fluted verticals for rhythm, oval and arch inlays for softness (our Camellia and Boheme carry both natively), gloss reserved for jewel moments, and brass — always warm, never chrome. Colours: cream, oxblood, deep green, black.

Curves in production

True curved doors price like sculpture; the Deco effect arrives cheaper through curved inlay profiles, radius end panels and arched glazing in flat doors — 90% of the look at standard-program cost.

Dose control

One Deco statement per room: the bar, the hood surround, the island. Full-room Deco becomes hotel-lobby pastiche; a single glamorous gesture against calm fronts reads collected and current.

Frequently asked

Which designs suit a Deco scheme?

Camellia's oval inlay, Boheme's arch, fluted Multi Country textures, and Glazed uppers with brass.

Is high gloss required for Deco?

No — matte cream with brass reads Deco daylight; save gloss for the bar's evening drama.
